CHICAGO, IL / TORONTO, ON, October 27, 2025 – International Leak Detection (ILD), a world leader offering advanced technology in leak detection and smart roof monitoring, is expanding its Canadian corporate team. The company is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Johannesson to National Sales Manager for Canada, effective October 27, 2025. Paul will report to Krista Gnatt, President of ILD, and will be based in Ontario, Canada.
In his new role, Paul will lead ILD’s sales operations across Canada, with a focus on the Greater Toronto Area. He will be responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies, building and strengthening key client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the commercial roofing and waterproofing sectors.
Paul brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction and waterproofing industry to ILD. He has held senior positions in sales, business development, and technical service, and spent over a decade as a professor at Humber College, where he developed and taught content for the Construction Project Management Certificate Program.
